Job Description

Whitlock has a great opportunity for a key position within our Quality Control Center. This position is responsible for all testing and QA/QC of systems built and staged in house. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project checklists, ensuring standards and procedures are followed, and final inspection of AV systems before delivery to site. Applicants will work closely with programmers to fully test and debug programming as well as write, load, and test DSP files.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferable
  • 5 years of experience working in the AV industry
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience commissioning high level AV systems
  • Experience working with industry specific control systems. (Crestron, Extron or AMX)
  • DSP Programming experience is a plus.(BIAMP or QAS preferred)
  • Must have, or be willing to attain a CTS certification. CTS-I is a plus. 
  • Proactive communicator who works well with others. 
  • Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel and Word)
