Job Description

Whitlock has a great opportunity for a skilled On-Site Project Manager to support one of our Enterprise Customers. The On-Site Project Manager will be responsible for successful planning, implementation, testing, training and closing of mission critical and/or high-profile audiovisual and videoconferencing projects for customers. As the single point of contact, from pre- sale through project sign-off, Whitlock on-site project managers are expected to have exceptional communication, organization and leadership skills, and the ability to actively manage all stakeholders expectations throughout the project through regular meetings and project status updates. The OSPM will also provide technical support to customers through electronic dispatching, performs  preventive and corrective maintenance on audiovisual and broadcast systems, provides technical support to projects as needed, and manages customer relationship from a service perspective by providing professional, courteous support at all times.

Job Requirements

  • CTS strongly preferred
  • Provide reports and adhere to metrics outlined in contract to provide service level defined per agreement. Act as a first point of escalation for the customer.
  • Liaison between Customer and Whitlock, coordinating weekly/monthly meetings in order to identify value adds.
  • Work with SDM, AE, and other Managed Services team members to facilitate customer QBR’s
  • Keep management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results
  • Risk assessment- Analyze problems and drive meaningful solutions
  • Implement processes as needed to enable smooth service delivery
  • Strong background and skillset as relates to interpreting systems drawings and understanding AV/VTC equipment

  • Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive project plan based on PMI standards
  • Ability to organize and moderate in person project meetings as well as audio/video conferences with project stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Specific aptitude with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred
  • Balance mixer inputs, EQ rooms, and adjust delay channels as necessary to optimize audio system performance (typically, this is accomplished using state-of-the-art DSP technology).
  • Test and troubleshoot control system functionality (may include Crestron, AMX, broadcast automation control and other IP-based control systems).
  • This individual must work effectively with staff and senior management within the organization and with external parties.
  • Have the ability to work with limited supervision and direction.
  • Set individual goals.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
  • Maintain timesheet in Tenrox time-reporting system.
  • Perform any task assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Senior Management
