Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Corporate Technical Recruiter to join Whitlock. We are looking for a motivated individual that is driven by success and looking for growth in their career. Responsibilities include proactively recruiting, screening, and managing a national database of industry candidates, ranging from entry level administrative and installation to very high level sales, engineering and management level positions.

The ability to organize all candidates in an electronic tool, including existing internal and external feedback, and to provide Management quick access based on needs along with the ability to effectively interview, filter and pre-screen candidates for existing openings are both crucial for success.  The use of social media, Linked In, job boards, applicant tracking systems and other relevant tools is equally important.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent computer, social networking, and database skills
  • Excellent oral, electronic and written communication skills
  • Self sufficient, self motivated, organized, reliable and punctual
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Professional demeanor and excellent people skills inckuding the ability to interact well with all levels of candidates, customers and Whitlock personnel
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with potential candidates
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to schedule commitments.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the US to Whitlock offices and utilize video infrastructure to collaborate. 
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree
  • 2 years of Recruiting Experience in IT, AV, Unified Communications or closely related field.
  • Past sales experience is a plus, along with excellent presentation skills
