A new opportunity exists for an On-Site AV Supervisor. This position will oversee the day to day operations of an On-Site AV team.  This successful candidate will be responsible for coordination and planning of events, maintenance scheduling, and coordination of related man power.  Responsibilities would also include working with the Director of On-Site Services and Talent Acquisition Team on recruiting, training, and hiring of On-Site staff. The On-Site AV Supervisor will be responsible for interfacing with customer’s facilities management personnel.  Other responsibilities would include budgeting, generation of required reports, inventory management, and working with the customer to facilitate the implementation of new systems.

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Solid technical background that includes, but not limited to, projection systems, control systems, and video conferencing.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn wiring diagrams
  • Self-motivated and strong coordinating skills
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Live Meeting and scheduling software
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Problem–solving skills
  • Exposure as operating technician for live audiovisual special events
  • Basic knowledge of AV integration and installation
  • CTS Certification, or be able to complete within six (6) months of placement
  • Present a professional demeanor, and provide excellent customer service
  • Extensive Video Conferencing and Bridging knowledge
  • At least 8-10 years experience in audiovisual or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in on-site or branch management
  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing personnel
  • Previous Hotel AV directorship a plus
  • Preferably college graduate or similar technical trade school
