Job Description

Whitlock has a great opportunity for a Technical Operations Manager. This position will work closely with the Regional Director and Regional Operations Manager for the successful completion of complex Audiovisual and Video Collaboration Projects. This role will also have the responsibility of setting and maintaining the best practice standards for technical operations. The successful candidate must possess strong technical AV background with extensive experience at the Project Management level, exhibit strong computer and communication skills, and have great people skills. The Technical Operations Manager will be responsible for the recruiting, mentoring, scheduling for installation technicians, lead technicians, project managers and control system programmers. P&L responsibilities are required.

Required Skills
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite of Products
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must have strong leadership qualities
  • Well rounded understanding of the new construction process
  • Previous experience in installation is a plus
  • Infocomm CTS and/or CTS-I certification is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Self sufficient, self motivated, reliable
  • Team player
Required Experience
  • Minimum of a high school education required. College preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in audiovisual or broadcast integration
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager
